Sharjah Airport provides competitively priced hangar spaces of various scales, with the ability to support both short-term and long-term leasing requirements. Our modern, high-security facilities are strategically located for maximum operational convenience and are dedicated specifically to general aviation aircraft.

First-rate Facilities
Our hangarage spaces include a diverse range of facilities operated by industry leaders, including Gulf Aircraft Engineering Services (GAES), Air Arabia, and Gama Aviation. These partnerships ensure that users have access to premium amenities, including climate-controlled environments and dedicated apron parking for business jets and general aviation aircraft.

Gulf Aircraft Engineering Services (GAES)

GAES operates a premier aircraft maintenance facility dedicated to the highest standards across a broad spectrum of aircraft types. The 16,600-square-metre hangar is divided into two specialised sections, capable of simultaneously accommodating six narrow-body and two wide-body aircraft. This infrastructure is supported by 5,700 square metres of specialised workshops and storage areas, all structured to maximise service efficiency and elevate total operational capacity.
Air Arabia Engineering Facility

Air Arabia’s hangar serves as a vital hub for engineering and maintenance excellence. As the largest low-cost carrier in the MENA region, Air Arabia utilises this 2,880-square-metre facility for both its own fleet and third-party maintenance for global carriers. The hangar accommodates aircraft up to the size of an Airbus A321 and is fully equipped for specialised services including battery maintenance, composite materials, sheet metal work, and non-destructive testing, supported by a dedicated team of approximately 500 aviation professionals.
Gama Aviation Hangars

Gama Aviation delivers bespoke hangarage solutions for business aviation and general aviation users at Sharjah Airport. Temperature-controlled spaces are available for all business jet classes, including Boeing Business Jets and Airbus Corporate Jets, alongside cost-effective open hangarage for weather protection. Dedicated apron parking is supported by Gama’s expert line-maintenance team, who personally oversee the care and security of every aircraft under their supervision.
