With decades of experience in airport management, His Excellency Ali Salim Al Midfa is recognised as one of foremost Emirati leaders in the growing aviation industry.
Since his appointment as Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority and member of the Sharjah Executive Council in 2014, the airport has achieved significant growth rates in passenger numbers, aircraft movements, and air freight.
His Excellency is also Chairman of Sharjah Aviation Services Company (SAS), Sharjah Airport Travel Agency (SATA), Dufry Sharjah and Second Vice President of ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Board.
He is a board member for several public and private organisations including Sharjah Sports Club, the Supreme Committee for Human Resources in the Emirate of Sharjah, the Sharjah Insurance Company, Skyline University College and Sharjah Volunteering Committee.
